Hi, hello girls how are you? I hope you are great. Today I don't feel completely good, in fact I think it is the first time that I feel very sad when writing a post. As I said in a past post, a couple of months ago I hurt my right foot. First it all seemed to be a sprain, but after seeing the symptoms clearly it turned out to be plantar fasciitis. I have been given an injection which in my opinion did not work quite well. Although the pain decreased somewhat, inflammation has always been present. I seek help with a person to give me a foot massage, since I hoped that it might be something less permanent. However although I felt a great improvement instantly, the pain has returned and the inflammation is still present. The pain and inflammation now focuses rather on the arch of the foot and more than pain is an unbearable burning sensation that I feel when pressed it.
I must confess that yesterday I felt a great impotence and I burst into tears of despair, first because of the pain and discomfort and second because after reading a lot about plantar fasciitis, I have learned that it is a problem apparently for life. According to what I read this problem can be controlled with therapy and anti-inflammatories however after a few months the discomfort will return. I feel very sad and helpless to know that my foot will not be right again. It is very difficult to describe what I feel, I am afraid of not being able to return to normal life. I have always been a very healthy person and have never been in a situation like this. I needed to let al these feelings out and tell you how I feel and the reason for my sporadic presence on the blog.
Thank you for reading this post and I hope to see you next time.
For now all I can do is go to my next appointment and see what the doctor recommends. I still do not resign myself to this situation, and I hope that with the right treatment I can improve and feel better.
I leave this outfit that I had ready long time ago but had not been able to publish. Sorry for not going into details of the outfit but I do not want to make this post any longer and boring. I wish all the best to you all. Let me know in your comments if you know what plantar fasciitis is and if you know some advice that can help me.
Thanks for stopping by and reading this post! See you next time!

  2. Being a physical therapist assistant, we get a few patients with plantar fasciitis but don't Worry!! Rolling your foot over a tennis ball, performing calf stretches, and wearing a great pair of sneakers (ASICS are my fave) will help. As cute as you're shoes are, they won't support your feet like sturdy sneakers do.

  3. Oh no love, sorry to hear that you aren't feeling very well and your ankle has been troubling you. Hopefully you will be on your way to recovery soon after seeing the doctor. You look lovely in this dress with the yellow flowers.
